Hello person! Yes you, the one looking at the screen. You seem lost. I don’t know how you’ve stumbled upon this little page but WELCOME and hopefully you’ll stay for just a bit longer. Let me introduce myself, my name is Miranda and my friend, who is somewhere around here, is Tiffanie. We made this here little blog in the hopes of staying literary literate while we endure societal standards of higher education being shoved into our brains, work schedules, and of course maintaining our sanity.

Here’s the game plan:

– We post Tuesdays and Fridays. Tuesdays have been designated to moi (Miranda), while Friday will feature Tiffanie. Posts topics are up in the air but they will usually be about some type of art (the definition of ‘art’ is subjective of course, but trying to include a multitude of definitions would keep me, and you, here all night and that’s not something I’d like to do).

– Of course we might have some spontaneous posts. Deal with it!

– Lastly, at the beginning of every month we will announce our “Required Reading” (a type of book club) which is a text that Tiffanie and I will read and at the end of the month there will be about that particular text – either a review or something just to spout our thoughts. If you, yes, I’m still talking to you, want to join us that would be amazing – we would love to hear any comments you have on the books or any of the posts that we put up, even if they ain’t all that friendly.

Enjoy your stay and have a great life πŸ™‚

Sincerely,

Miranda & Tiffanie

    • Thanks Ned, it’s really nice to get a comment like yours. We followed your blog too because you’re pretty hilarious.
      Thanks for visiting πŸ™‚

  1. Hello! Thanks for the follow ^^ I like the blog you guys have here and I look forward to reading future posts, maybe even joining in with some “Required Reading” :3 I’ve never been part of a book club before, so it should be fun! I know alllll about trying (or should I say failing) to maintain sanity during higher education as well. x3 Good luck with it all, and see you around!

    • That would be so awesome if you joined in our “Required Reading” we would love to get your point of view and it would be a delight to have a book club that is larger than two people – although don’t hold us to this month’s book (GoT Book#2 – we haven’t quite finished it yet… I mean chocolates, family, and presents just beckoned to us, called to us even, more-so than the novel). We could also chat about the ‘delights’ (I say that with caution) of college πŸ™‚
Feel free to chat us up anytime (we’ll probably do that same anyway)

  2. Hello, if I have the time I am going to try and keep up with your Required Reading, it sounds like fun. And I’ve just started a physical book club here (not physical books, but physical club) – it’s always good to exchange ideas on things, gives a different perspective and appreciation.
    Hopefully, see you around!

    • Sorry for the (really)late reply but that would be wonderful if you joined in πŸ™‚ I’ve wanted to join a physical book club too (because it’s really nice to just to sit and have coffee with a couple of people for a couple of hours and talk about a book). We hope to see you around as well
